A video is playing on a desktop computer screen, in which an anonymous is wandering around Villa Verde, a smart home peopled with IoTs (“Internet of Things” - connected smart appliances). This video takes its inspiration from the “scenarii of connected objects” used in domotic systems. The main character, FigureMan, is the archetypical virtual assistant. Beneath his skin, a flow of images generates a relief. On​ the shelf, artificial beings personify these IoTs and how they inhabit the interiors with new imaginary orders. The video was made in the framework of a carte blanche at the Visit film festival in Het Bos, Antwerp, with the sound artist François boulanger (ssaliva).
